I created a conceptual design for a character for a storyline - a vampire that was subject to experimentation in order to merge vampire and werewolf DNA	A client requested that I design cover art for a song that they made and put on the radio.	This was cover art that I'd created for a personal podcast with some friends during my undergraduate term at Fisk	A client requsted a design for a vocational summer school's business card in order to help promote their school.	During 2021's VI4 program, I was partnered with a virology lab that was conducting research on the formation of viruses, mainly the coronovirus.
During 2021's VI4 program, we were assigned a workshop and in that workshop we created a book cover for the research article that our assigned labs were writing, this was the resutlt of mine.	This was a practice page for a personal project that I am working on. It's rough around the edges and needs rendering and more detailing, but the initial line work was done as well as an initial layer of shading.	A client requested this design for a clothing line they wished to create and publish.	A practice run of a comic cover page for a personal project that I'm still polishing.

My Name Is Kadeer Wellington...

Born in the tropical climate of Kingston, Jamaica and raised in Nassau, The Bahamas, I spent a lot of time learning and refining my self-made artistic prowess and creative imagination while trying to find new fields to apply them.

I moved to Nashville, TN for my undergrad and completed my BS in Data Science and Art at Fisk University. An odd combination but the two compliment each other more than one would think, in terms of introducing creative story telling to data visualization and keen artistic critique to complex data collection and cleaning.

Currently, I'm beginning work on my MBA in Ohio so working hours aren't as free as they used to be, but I'm open to freelance work and commission requests from willing clients in digital illustration and graphic design.
